May 9 2020 (9 AM - 10 PM )
Barony of Lochmere

The Barony of Lochmere once more invites archers to join together at a scenic waterfront site in Annapolis, Maryland for a day of archery, good food, and companionship. Shooting will commence around 10 am on Saturday, May 9, 2020. As always, the main event will be the challenging walk- through shoot. The path climbs through some rolling hillside but is not particularly steep. An extra effort is being made to incorporate a variety of missile weapons into the shoot. This year we will try to conquer the 12 labors of Hercules. Whether you shoot or not, the Barony encourages you to come for the food, the socializing with old and new friends, and the time to work on small A&S projects. Musicians and singers are welcome as well. If you are a newcomer to the SCA, this is a nice, low key, no pressure event to learn about archery and some of the many A&S activities practiced in the Society.

FightingARCHERY, including ATLATL. Archery/atlatl targets are set up in the surrounding woods and along the water for an interesting and challenging shoot. There may be time for an atlatl battle. The practice range is available any time there is a marshal present.
Arts & Sciences:All attendees are encouraged to bring small A&S projects to work on and share with others. Be aware that there is limited space for displays. Covered space is even more limited. This is a small site, however, if individuals wish to conduct impromptu A&S classes within this limitation contact the autocrat and we'll see what we can do.
Feast:Lunch and dinner are included in your site fee. Lunch will be provided by Mistress Genevieve Dampier de la Marche. Supper will be roast pig with all the trimmings by Master Reynard de la Rochefoucauld.
